Most Annoying/Least Annoying Musical Instruments?

In most cases, I don't begrudge ANY instrument. Played well, they all have their place. Except one. I hate the dog whistle. It sounds nothing like a dog or a whistle. And it has some serious volume issues. No matter how hard I blow into it, I still can't hear the darn thing.
