My fiance and I need help getting our selves together. Anyone know good loans?

My fiance and I are in a tight spot financially. We lost our car in an accident, and I've become disabled. We're trying to make the most of our lives still, but with the loss of my income and needing a new car, we're sunk. We've depleted our saving on medical bills, and our hopes of owning a home or affording a wedding our sinking as well. We live in my parents basement now, and all I can do is watch my partner slave away to keep us above water. I know they say money can't buy happiness, but it could surely help us keep our spirits up in this rough time. We're in need of cash in a bad way, and we keep getting rejected for loans for some reason. We have average credit, but no collateral anymore. Are we totally sunk? Is there a 'life screwed us over" type of loan to help us get back on our feet? I know this is a shot in the dark, but I just don't know how to help out anymore. If anyone knows of a loan or a miracle, please send help our way. Thank you.
