How many of you did duty at the DFAC during BCT (everyone lol)...?

I was in the MN Army Guard, and then the AF- I did basic for both because my AF recruiter was a SrA and a single father of young children and in the middle of a PCS so he didn't get the paperwork to waive my AF basic tng in. I didn't find out until I was 3 hours from home waiting to ship out- so instead of going back home and waiting forever on the waiver I just went. I never did see that- but I wouldn't doubt it any!! when we did kitchen duty it was really just doing dishes and trash and stuff- to be honest with you I can't remember doing kitchen patrol at all- although I was a great at getting beds in line. You know what was funny- since I had experience I helped some of the others get their lockers ready for inspection because they begged. They get almost perfect and I got crapped all over even though I just kinda threw their stuff together and took time on mine, go figure! Who would think I would miss those days..........
