How does Achilles from the Iliad die?

After Achilles killed Hector (the Trojan) in combat, Paris shot an arrow and hit him in the heel, but the arrow didn't have to be poisoned. Achilles had been dipped in the river Styx as an infant and held by the heel, which remained his only vulnerable spot.
