BROKE UP WITH BOYFRIEND. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET OVER HIM...?

We're both 22. were together for 6 months, it was a chaotic relationship, just mainly too much drama from the start, but we did have our good times. I do have strong feelings for him, gave him my virginity, and I think that he did genuninely love me, but i guess u can say that we met at the wrong time in our lives. We broke up last saturday. We have broken up in the past, and gotten back together. not gonna happen this time, its final from both sides. I hate how he completely shuts me out of his life when we do break up but its understandable. I've deleted from my facebook page b/c thats just my way of moving on, it helps my process. I'll be leaving town for good in 2 weeks for the air force and he knows this but i doubt that he'll call to wish me luck, or see how I'm doing. do he not care about me? do feelings just die like that? Im just hurt b/c I really believed he was the one for me... ;(
