Since The Word "BLACK" Is ociated With Negativity, Could This Have A Subconscious Affect On Views Of Blacks

I mean with the exception of "being in the black" being a good thing. The color "black" is usually ociated with "darkness" & therefore bad or even "evil". What kind of pychological effect do you think this has on "Black" people when this word synonymous with the race has so many negative meanings & connotations?
